Bill Marcy To Attend Rally At Bennie Thompson’s Office

The Central Mississippi Tea Party has announced that they will be holding a Rally in front of Bennie Thompson’s Office in Bolton, MS on Tuesday, March 16th at 4pm. President Obama and Speaker Nancy Pelosi have decided to move forward with a reconciliation of their National Health Care Reform agenda and it is time for all Americans to stand up and express their opinions regarding this proposed government take-over of more than 1/6th of our economy.

The goal of the rally is to let Democrat Bennie Thompson know once again that the majority of the Citizens of Mississippi oppose the President’s plans for Health Care Reform. Rep. Thompson has consistently voted in favor of the Liberal, Statist agenda of President Obama and he has consistently ignored the voices of the people in his own district. It is time for Bennie to be reminded once again that he ignores the voice of the people at his own political peril.

District 2 Republican Candidate Bill Marcy has announced that he will attend the rally and demonstration to protest Rep. Thompson’s blind support of the Liberal agenda and to support the efforts of The Central Mississippi Tea Party. As a member of a local tea party group, Bill Marcy agrees that Government takeovers are not the answer to the problems we all face. Bill Marcy knows that there is not one program that the Government has ever run that has worked as planned, come in under budget and not had unintended consequences. Bill Marcy understands that Washington needs to get it’s financial house in order and focus on empowering the private sector to create jobs instead of creating another unwanted bureacracy.
